Developer: Christian Duval Gimenez Package: com.swimpb.app
The app works without an account. If you choose to enable backup, you sign in with Google and we receive your email address and profile name, solely to identify the session.
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Sign in with Google and sync the backup with your Google Drive. |
Your times, workouts and records are stored in a local database inside the phone. If you enable backup, that file is uploaded to your own Google Drive, into a private app folder (drive.file scope, which only grants access to files the app itself creates). We run no servers of our own and cannot see your data. You can sign out and revoke access at any time from Settings or from your Google account.
The only outbound connections are to Google's authentication and Drive services.
We use no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking networks. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
SwimPB is intended to include teenage swimmers (ages 13 to 17). If you are under 18, please note:
Parents and guardians: you can ask us to delete any data associated with a minor's account by writing to the contact address below. You can also revoke the app's access at any time from the minor's Google account settings, and delete the backup file directly from their Google Drive.
Since we keep no data on servers of our own, there is nothing to request or delete on our side. Uninstalling the app removes any information left on the phone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date.
